Brothers 4 Christ was a not-for-profit Louisiana corporation established in 1997. It's founders, four (4) Christian brothers, desired to see men saved, father's restored to their rightful positions and at-risk youth turn to the Faith.
One Heart Ministries International grew from this ministry to make disciples of all men. This expansion included ministering to the family, those in the marketplace and into the world.
Brothers 4 Christ formally became One Heart Ministries International in April 2002.
God spoke to our leaders proclaiming this ministry to be that of Acts 4.31-34. God said that not only would they assist in providing for physical needs but also ushering others to become Spiritually mature through discipleship. “I’m a big man who serves a big God. Why think small,” says our Senior Pastor Marvin J. Young, II.
Pastor Kimberlie Young says, "Simply, 2 Corinthians 4.4 tells us, Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don't believe. Those individuals choose not to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don't understand the message of a fulfilled life in Christ, the epitome of God in flesh. By God's power, we're tearing down strongholds, winning souls and teaching people how to live."
She continues, "God wants us to be a Holy people. Therefore, we are to allow His Spirit to conduct a complete and thorough upheaval of old thought processes and beliefs that we might grasp hold of the truth."
With such a great task and vision ahead of our Pastors and at God's calling, they submitted this ministry and service to a great man of God in Bishop J. Delano Ellis, II of Pentecostal Church of Christ in Cleveland, OH. For six years our Pastors remained faithful in attendance, giving and service until God spoke to and confirmed with Bishop Ellis their Calling to return to South Louisiana and begin the ministry. Bishop Ellis agreed, and our leaders returned. We believe that the blessing flowing through them for their obedience will fall on those associated with this ministry.
In August 2010, our Leaders introduced the ministry to the city of New Orleans. The Holy Ghost filled camp meeting at the Clarion Inn where our Leaders told those gathered that God would, through this ministry, "Rebuild the Wall, Repair the Family and Restore the Community." There is a great chasm in the city of New Orleans where sin and witchcraft live. Not only would that be filled in, but a wall would be built to separate it from the church. The church will gain momentum in these last days by repairing the family. The community of Believers would learn to walk with One Heart and One Voice, no matter what past experiences they may have suffered at the hands of the church or others who lack the love of Jesus.
God has promoted our leaders to minister into the rest of the world! Not only are we moving into other states, but our leaders are requested to steward other ministries through developing relationships to help strengthen the Body of Christ internationally.
"We're believing God to do what He said through this ministry: create a Body of Believers filled with the Holy Ghost who will go out and snatch others from the hand of the devil, including turning the hearts of false Prophets and self-named Apostles back to God - for we are well able to do so," proclaim our Pastors.
